ब्रह्मपुरी:- शहरातील देलनवाडी भागातील सहकार कॉलनीत राहणाऱ्या एका कुटुंबातील आई , वडील व दोन मुलांनी आर्थिक विवंचनेला कंटाळून विष प्राशन करीत सामूहिक आत्महत्याMass suicide करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. ही घटना रविवारी २५ सप्टेंबर रोजी उघडकीस आली असून महिलेचा मृत्यू झाला आहे . तर वडील व दोन मुलांची प्रकृती चिंताजनक असल्याने शहरात एकच खळबळ उडाली आहे .
शहरातील देलनवाडी प्रभागातील सहकार कॉलनीतील एका अपार्टमेंटमध्ये रमाकांत दामोधर ठाकरे ( ५५ ) हे पत्नी गीता ठाकरे ( ५० ) व मुलगा राहुल व मनोज यांच्यासह भाड्याने फ्लॅट घेऊन राहात होते . मागील काही दिवसांपासून कुटुंबातील कोणाच्याही हाताला काम नसल्याने घरातील प्रपंच सांभाळताना त्यांना आर्थिक अडचण भासत होती . या बाबीचा खूप त्रास होत असल्यामुळे टोकाचे पाऊल उचलल्याची माहिती आहे . दरम्यान , त्यांच्याकडे मोबाइल रिचार्ज करायलासुद्धा पैसे नव्हते . त्यामुळे घरी असलेला मोबाईल विकून घरातील खर्च चालविल्याचीसुद्धा माहिती आहे . आर्थिक विवंचनेतून शुक्रवारी , २३ सप्टेंबरला मध्यरात्री चौघांनी सामूहिक आत्महत्या करण्याचा विचार केला . रात्री १२ वाजतानंतर दोन - तीन प्रकारचे किटकनाशक Pesticides एकत्र करून चौघांनीही एक एक ग्लास प्राशन केले . त्यानंतर ते शनिवारी दिवसभर घरातच अत्यावस्थ अवस्थेत पडून होते . दोन दिवसांपासून त्यांनी काहीच खाल्ले नसल्याची माहिती आहे . रविवारी पहाटे कुटुंबप्रमुख रमाकांत यांना थोडे बरे वाटू लागले असता त्यांनी उठून पाहिल्यानंतर दोन्ही मुले जिवंत असल्याचे तर पत्नी निपचित पडून असल्याचे दिसून आले . दरम्यान पहाटे ५ वाजता रमाकांतने तशाच अवस्थेत , सायकलने लहान भावाचे घर गाठून त्याला ही कल्पना दिली . लहान भावाने लगेच आपल्या वाहनाने चारही जणांना ग्रामीण रुग्णालय ब्रह्मपुरी येथे भरती केले . मात्र उपचारादरम्यान गीता ठाकरे यांचा मृत्यू झाला तर रमाकांत ठाकरे यांच्यावर एका खासगी रुग्णालयात उपचार सुरू असून , दोन्ही मुलांना गडचिरोली येथील रुग्णालयात पाठविण्यात आले आहे . पुढील तपास ब्रह्मपुरी पोलीस करीत आहेत .

Ramakant Damodhar Thackeray (55) along with his wife Geeta Thackeray (50) and sons Rahul and Manoj were living on rent in an apartment in Sahakar Colony in Delanwadi Ward of the city. For the past few days, since no one in the family had any work, they were facing financial difficulties while taking care of the household affairs. It is known that an extreme step has been taken because of this issue. Meanwhile, they did not even have money to recharge their mobile phones. Therefore, it is also known that the mobile phone at home was sold and the household expenses were met. On Friday, September 23, at midnight, four people thought of committing mass suicide due to financial hardship. After 12 o'clock in the night, after combining two-three types of insecticide, all four drank one glass each. After that, he was lying in a state of emergency in the house all day on Saturday. It is known that he has not eaten anything for two days. On Sunday morning when Ramakant, the head of the family started to feel a little better, he woke up to find that both the children were alive and his wife was lying unconscious. Meanwhile, Ramakant reached his younger brother's house on a bicycle in the same state at 5 am and gave him this idea. The younger brother immediately rushed all the four people to the rural hospital Brahmapuri in his vehicle. But Geeta Thackeray died during the treatment while Ramakant Thackeray is undergoing treatment in a private hospital and both the children have been sent to a hospital in Gadchiroli. Brahmapuri police are conducting further investigation.
